Getting creative with photography!

Me and my best friend Stephanie (A.K.A. - my big sister) love taking pictures with our DSLRs. She is home this summer from college so we have been hanging out a lot and having fun! It's the best when she's home! She is going to be a Junior in college this year. She is at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Anyhow, she was Stumbling (www.stumbleupon.com) and found a cool idea! You get a black piece of paper and cut out a heart and put it on your lens.

It's been awhile...

I apologize for not having posted anything in over a month! Let me update you on my life. I finished my Junior year (11th grade) of high school and so now I am considered a Senior! I am on summer break until Monday, August 15, 2011. I took a 5 week Geometry course to get my third math credit so I can graduate. I interned for a few weeks at a nonprofit organization called The Elisa Project but I am going to take a break now. They educate others and go to schools to make awareness about Eating Disorders. People also call them to get referrals for doctors to help people with Eating Disorders. I was helping them with media, updating their database, and making a kit for students to use to make awareness on Eating Disorders for National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. Now I have just been relaxing and hanging out with friends. I am starting to get extremely stressed though (and it's my fault) because I have not started my summer reading and school starts very soon! :( I plan on starting this weekend. I have to read three books and do a book report practically on each one. I am also extremely nervous and scared for Government this year! It's going to be a hard class I hear! Ok, well that's about everything that's been going on in my life. Thanks for listening haha and sorry again for not posting anything in over a month! As you can tell it's been a little crazy... And of course other things here and there have happened but this was just the overall big picture.

Hat happening?

So I have seen lately that a fashion trend for summer is the fedora hat. I have tried a fedora hat on a couple of times. I think I like how it looks on me but I don't know if I would wear it or have the confidence to wear it in public. I really want one though... I think they would look cute with a summer dress! Welcome everyone!

This is my first blog so I am a little new to all of this but my goal is to share experiences, recipes, fashion, quotes, and more! I am going to share with you my journey through the college search process. I am going to share some incidents that happen to me and my view on them. Funny, exciting, and sad. I love to bake so I am going to try to share some delicious recipes with you all! I love fashion but sometimes it gets expensive so I am going to share some of the items I like and some I wish I could have.
